Healing The Wounds Of Life

This is a 3 part workshop beginning at 2:00pm and ending at 8:00pm with breaks for snacks and dinner.

Due to the sensitive and indepth nature of this workshop it is not possible to join the Self Worth Workshop after it has started.  You will need to be there pretty much at the beginning.

If you are not sure which day-long workshop you wish to attend, and you wish to check-out the Self Worth workshop, please come at the beginning.  You will be able to know within an hour whether you wish to stay with this workshop for the day.

Virtually all of us have been wounded – whether it was once or twice, occasionally, or regularly. For most of us, these wounds impact our lives in both subtle & profound ways. We want to live our lives as radiant examples of how to live on the planet. We want to become aware of, and develop an ongoing connection with our higher selves, but we find that we are blocked by fears of lack of self worth. Sometimes we try to prove we are worthy, but nothing ever seems to be enough. In spiritual practice, many of us find frequent opportunities to experience guilt. We promise ourselves that we are going to do a certain practice every day, or that we will stop doing some habit that we perceive to be demoting or unhealthy, and then find that we are not able to do (or not do) the thing we promised ourselves. Then we call ourselves names, feel like we failed, are “no good,” etc.

Join us for a transformational workshop which will transform that negative voice into one of positive self-love.

True health is not something that can be achieved from taking any single herb or by visiting a particular healer. True health is achieved by a deeper experience of how the human organism operates. This knowledge is not something that is reserved for doctors, scientists, or even mystics. It can be easily comprehended by anyone who wishes to do so. Yoga and Ayurveda makes up the path science known as ’svastha’, or ‘pefect health’.

Whether it is stress, anxiety, depression, physical challenges, or anything else…this system of healing addresses the root of every disorder and every source of pain. You discover how to eliminate negatively charged mental and physical challenges and transform your body and mind into a powerful vehicle for energy, clarity and purpose. You begin to obtain the wisdom that will allow you to live with an authentic vitality that can only be obtained through subtle layers of understanding and experience.

In this special Kundalini Yoga workshop with yogi, Ayurvedic specialist and teacher, Jai Dev Singh, you will take a deep dive into the spectacular wisdom of Ayurveda. We will enter into the subtle, healing space for a direct experience of the ‘vidya’, the living teachings.

Gurdwara

As part of morning Sadhana, we join together in the “House of the Guru” to sing the praises of the Infinite and connect to our divine self.  The Sikh form of worship is through the Shabd Guru, the Divine Sound Current, the eternal vibration of wisdom, which breaks through illusion and gets us to our core. Each morning  we will sing Gurbani Kirtan and sacred songs, will be led in the recitation of a Prayer (Ardas), and hear a daily Passage (Hukam) from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, which will offer guidance for our day.

When entering this sacred space, please cover your head, remove your shoes and if possible, wash your hands.  Sikh Dharma International is happy to host this Gurdwara, and wishes each one a blessed and uplifting experience.

The Frontal Lobe Upgrade to Create Inner Happiness
The mind creates 1,000 thought per blink of the eye. The mind’s job is to project thoughts. This is an automatic response.  Instead of trying to stop the thoughts,  we can redirect the mind on a specific task like chanting a mantra or listening to the breath.   By commanding the mind to focus on something else, we can experience immense peace and tranquility when we enter the Realm of the Blue Pearl. Being thoughtless means to dive deeply into the flow of Life, the Qi, the effortlessness of being. This is a 90 minute kundalini yoga and meditation class designed to take you into the deep state of thoughtlessness where you can experience clarity, peace, and tranquility.

“There are two areas of your body which you must develop. Upper palate and frontal lobe, frontal lobe control your personality and see everybody knows everything. And frontal lobe controls the personality and upper palate that controls the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus controls your automatic creative habits. There are seven neurological layers of the brain and they have fourteen sides to it and how brain works? And if these atoms of the brain we call them units, which control your body so effectively. You know your body has thirty-trillion cells. This little cantaloupe controls it. It’s not a small machine it’s quite a big machine, but when it is overloaded with emotions, commotions and all that stuff, you have to go to a garage for service and that service shall be that you should be put through a process, that you shall develop intuitive consciousness, so that you can be back to normal again.”  – Yogi Bhajan

Beyond Addiction: The Yogic Path to Recovery

According to Yogi Bhajan, addictions are self-defeating habits. In Beyond Addiction: The Yogic Path to Recovery, addictions are defined as “any pattern of behavior that you crave, and find some temporary relief or pleasure in, but are unable to give up despite the negative long term consequence.” In addition to using drugs and alcohol, there are countless ways for individuals to find temporary relief from discomfort including social media, compulsive shopping, destructive relationships, sex, sugar, workaholism, fantasizing, and gambling.

Rather than masking pain and suffering with distraction and avoidance, to truly heal, the addict must become present and aware, the very experience he or she so desperately seeks to avoid by engaging in the addictive behavior pattern. The transformational power of the yoga of awareness supports healing by allowing the individual to actively participate in a powerful process. The physical stretching opens the body and breathing moves suppressed emotions and stuck energy so that it can be circulated, transformed, and released. Postures build resilience and meditation creates a space for the calming effects of the parasympathetic nervous system to dominate, as the glandular system re-sets.  This practice creates the space to heal and let go to experience true freedom and happiness by delivering those who practice from the darkness to the light.

Kundalini UpRising: From Pessimist to Activist

It’s the Year of the Rooster. The Great Awakener. And, if you are alive today, then you’ve heard its shrilling call to action. Yep. It’s our rise and shine moment.

But how do we rise without falling prey to the collective fray?

We’ve all been stewing in anger~ a natural emotion we yogis tend to bypass with “love and light”.

And yet, that anger of yours? It’s fire. We need it.

That anger of yours can fuel that love and light into action.

But heed Yogi Bhajan’s words of wisdom,

“Anger can either cook for you or burn your house down.”

We’ve seen that misused anger burn our Earth home and the humanity and dignity it houses. That’s not us. Let’s let that anger cook for us-by consciously, non-violently and un-apologetically transmuting our pessimism into activism. An activist is an alchemist. And Kundalini Yoga? Pure alchemy. Utilizing the tenets of Trauma to Dharma™ and the ancient science of Kundalini Yoga come neutralize, alchemize and actualize.  The revolution begins within; And we need to root in order to rise.

Song of the Heart: The Art of Listening Deeply
Learn to listen to the sounds of your heart and your soul. Explore the infinite moment as you attune to your inner sounds and the deepest levels of silence. By listening deeply we open a space of great understanding, self-experience and self-transformation.

This is an inner journey deep into the Self, listening consciously with ears, mind, body and heart. The yogis call listening sunni-ai. It means hearing the sounds, the words, the subtlety—all that is below the surface—at the same time. Sunni-ai is intuition applied to listening. Deep listening, like radar, senses the shape and momentum of the present moment. Come attune yourself to the sound current with powerful meditations, chanting and listening techniques shared by Crown of Eternity.

Open yourself to a deeper sensitivity that will connect you to life in a whole new way.

Manifest Your Dreams!
In this 90 minute workshop we follow a step by step process to transform ideas into reality.

After discovering your passions and skills, you will craft a purpose driven mission statement which will act as a guide for your life. Empowered by purpose you will then take time to realistically look at the effort required to manifest dreams and bring life to your ideas.

I have used this process to build yoga studios, start festivals and a hotel. It has been so rewarding to share the process with others to bring positive change in their lives. I am excited to share the process with you!

Bring a notebook and something to write with.

Expanding into Love

“When you understand who and what you are, your radiance projects into the universal radiance and everything around you become creative and full of opportunity.” ~ Yogi Bhajan

This class will take you on a journey of healing and dissolving blocks that have kept you from shining your light into the world. Together we will expand into the beautiful light of being. We are living in a new paradigm of human evolution, and the shifts are bringing up new emotions. We have a choice to shrink back and let fear win, or to embrace vulnerability, allowing the miraculous energy of love to unfold within ourselves and in our lives. At this time the infinite is infusing the beautiful light of transformation into world. We can access it if we allow. The love frequency is here for everyone. It is our core. We need only release energetic blocks and relax the grip on old scaffolding and emotional crutches that no longer serve us in the new radiant vibration. Your soul is calling and the world needs your vibration.

Co-authors Karena Virginia and Dharm Khalsa will be going into depth with key concepts from their new book, Essential Kundalini Yoga: An Invitation to Radiant Health, Unconditional Love and the Awakening of Your Energetic Potential, including the Miracle Breath, The Advance Gratitude Technique and the Love Frequency Phenomenon. You can expect the unexpected to arrive in magical ways.

Be ready for yoga, breath work, live music, deep healing and relaxing into deep guided meditation. The Global Sadhana meditation “Overcoming Depression and Expanding into love” will be integrated into the class with live music.

Root yourself in the very moment as reference to infinity

Mirabai Ceiba invites you to a transformative and joyful gathering of breath work

How do we relate and respond to these challenging times? Our thoughts and imagination can be a trap of limitation. Easily we loose our minds in an over flood of terrible news on social media and news sites, or we escape into a pink spiritual fantasy world, we need to access our capacities of contemplation and receptivity through our senses in order to root ourselves in the very moment. The very portal for infinity is the world we live in. Everything is here and it is now and it is time to stop judging our human self. By conscious breathing, chanting and free dancing you  move your inner world, you belong to the movement of life.  Take a chance to journey beyond your limits and to explore  another side of your reality to keep infinity as a reference in a world that is closing in.

The Art of Playing the Gong for Healing & Meditation
Connect to the healing power of the Gong with Crown of Eternity.  This workshop focuses on deepening your understanding of the therapeutic aspects of Gong playing. We will explore the subtle and dynamic aspects of the Gong – how it affects the mind, the body, the aura and how it opens a space of consciousness that allows us to access and balance the five elements (tattvas) and the pranic body. We will enhance our compassionate awareness and sensitivity to vibration and the deeper aspects of listening within the Gong space.

We will learn how to articulate our Gong strokes to get the best possible effects from our playing.  We will begin to explore the therapeutic aspects of the Gong, moving beyond Savasana and working toward a foundation for utilizing Sound as a medicine for the future.  This course will offer exercises in self healing and group experiences using the vibrational power of the gong.

This course can be taken by anyone regardless of experience with the Gong.  We will have a large selection of gongs to practice in small groups during the workshop. Participants are welcome to bring their own gong(s) to practice with as well.

Space for this class is limited, pre-registration is required. Register Now!

When entering this sacred space, please cover your head, remove your shoes and if possible, wash your hands.  Sikh Dharma International is happy to host this Gurdwara, and wishes each one a blessed and uplifting experience.

Life Without Challenge Doesn't Exist
Yogi Bhajan.  We have been raised in the Kundalini Yoga Life style to embrace difficulty with a smile. Yogi Bhajan says, “qualify yourself”.  Qualify that you are part of God and God is part of you.  And, remember, the Divine always gives challenges at the time a quantum leap in spiritual growth is ready to unfold. Yet, the issues taking place these days for many have been quite troubling and perhaps even a bit scary. Which means it is a time to reorganize our neurological system, clear subconscious patterns, and invigorate our intuitive awareness. The scriptures tell us to “see the faults in others, then un-see them”. We want to see the play within the play, step out of duality, and find ‘Shunia’. That is the focus of this workshop. Achieving Noble Stillness! Grace under fire!

Merger of Ego into the Grace of God
When we live from a place of ego, there is nothing but suffering.  Yet, we must have the ego intact, otherwise we are dead. The key is to merge the ego into the infinite flow of the One, so that each moment is a simple representation of the Divine on this planet. Once the mind understands this relationship, we can operate from a place of self identity, awareness, strength, and experience authentic soul victory.

In this class we will practice breath, Kundalini yoga, and dive into a mantra that will in the words of Yogi Bhajan, “save you from all darkness, physical, spiritual, past, present and future.”  This mantra is “Ardaas Bha-ee.”

Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) is practiced in many yoga traditions and a great warm up for Kundalini Yoga Kriyas.  This dynamic sequence activates the sun energy within us, gets the entire body and energy moving, build up the heat, and establish the deep connection between movement and breath.

In this workshop, Kiyomi will guide you through varieties of Surya Namaskars focusing on how to practice them safely, mindfully while being aware of the body’s needs to fine tune, deepen, and modify as necessary.

We will practice with paying attention to the sensation of the body, safe alignments, proper breathing, using bandhas (locks) and drishti (gaze point), and inviting yogic philosophies and prayers to maximize the benefit of this ritual practice of honoring the energy of the Sun.

All Night Gong Journey

An All Night Sound Journey sets the space for the deepest vibrational rest you will ever know as Crown Of Eternity transports you through the night in a timeless journey of sonic bliss.  It is a meditation; a dream-like state; a carefully honored space of intention and attention; a deep and lasting vibrational cleansing for the body and soul; a profound journey through all levels of the self like you have never experienced before.

An all night experience starts by preparing your body with light breathwork or meditation and settling into a cosy space for the night to sleep, to be awake, to meditate or to be amazed by the vastness of the healing sound current.  Mike and Gallina will be sharing the vibrations from over 60 instruments (multiple gongs, gong oblongs, sound triangles, sound plates, bells and Himalayan singing bowls). The deep complex harmonics of multiple gongs, singing bowls and other vibrational instruments resonate continuously through the night melting away boundaries between being awake and asleep, between inside and outside.  The rhythmic sound oscillations facilitate the movement of prana through the body and deliver a deep energetic reboot of the nervous system.  These sacred sounds are transmitted into the tissues, realigning us on the cellular level while removing unwanted patterns and blockages, and energizing, exhilarating and lifting the spirit. Meditate or sleep through the night as Crown of Eternity tone you into the deepest conscious sleep, cleansing, releasing, healing, and harmonizing on all levels!

As women we have all battled with our own inner demons: those devilish voices telling us we’re not good enough, strong enough or smart enough. Ah well, we’ve got news.

The devil may have whispered in your ear, “you’re not strong enough to withstand this storm.” Today you get to whisper back “I am the storm.

Yes, The time has come to give a shift. A global shift. The time has come to harness and utilize the thing we’ve feared most~ our own strength and wisdom~ that rising Storm known as The Divine Feminine. This fierce and forceful storm of storms isn’t violent or abusive; destructive or oppressive. She may not play nice, but she is inherently kind. This storm is creative and constructive. She organizes and mobilizes. Fueled by fierce compassion, inclusion and spirited connection she is done staying hidden and quiet. She has risen. She is done feigning sleep. She has risen. And she is no longer afraid of the storm. Because finally she gets it. She owns it. SHE IS THE STORM.

Come join together in sisterhood as we collectively ignite our Divine Feminine fire. It only takes one candle to light up the dark, imagine what all of us can do together?

The Flow of Silence: Healing with Your Prana
Every person has a deep connection to the flow of prana. Every person breathes, and is alive through that flow of prana. We eat to receive prana, we give and receive prana in our relationships, and we heal ourselves by working with our flow of prana. Yoga heals us by shifting the flow through breath, asana, mantra and awareness. The deeper our perception of this flow, the more healing is possible. The deeper our silence, the more we can sense our own flow and the flow of others. For thousands of years yogis have discovered practices to open new states of awareness by shifting this flow in our bodies, our minds and how we flow with the universe around us.

Join Ajeet Kaur and her band for an experience of self-healing through yoga, meditation and opening our perception to awaken our capacity to heal.
